We only have an occasional litter. We strive for quality, not quantity! Our puppies are known for their health, temperament, and luscious thick coats. A lot of time and research prior to mating is necessary to produce the best possible Havanese puppy. We also spend a lot of time handling the puppies after birth and until they are in your arms. Our puppies are born in our home and are hand held from the day they are born. Our family consists of 8 children, two birth children and six internationally adopted children. Each child spends many hours with your new puppy. Each puppy receives special one on one attention, has bonded to children and other pets and is used to noise and distractions. Our puppies are sold AKC registered, limited registration as pet companion dogs with a spay neuter contract. Our puppies come from a direct line of champion Hungarian Havanese that in some instances include World Champions. Your puppies parent or grandparent came directly from Hungary.
Havanese are town and country dogs and also make wonderful apartment dogs. They can be house broken or litter box trained. They are happy, contented, cuddly little dogs who love people, other animals and just make you smile. Havanese do not shed which makes them a wonderful pet for people with allergies. Havanese have a long life span which means that you are making a long commitment.
We realize that circumstances sometimes come up and for reasons beyond their control an owner can not keep their Havanese. We know how hard the decision to re-home your best friend can be and because of this we have a “take back” policy as we would rather see our puppies placed in another home of our choice. We do not pay for the return of your puppy but we will be happy to keep in touch with you as you go through this painful process. Please know that if it is necessary to give back your dog we do not refund the price of the dog.
To help ensure a well socialized puppy we keep our little ones with their mother for an extended time. By doing this they are taught many lessons only their mother can teach and they have had the advantage of the true bonding time needed to enable them to adjust to their new family.
We also have a health guarantee that covers the replacement of a puppy for one year after purchase if a life threatening genetic disorder is found and confirmed by your veterinarian in writing along with any test results. We do not pay vet bills or shipping.
